| Hello, My name is Ori... I have been practicing for 3 months with bars only, and I thought about going to the gym and start working with weights. but I'm only 16 so I don't know if it is good for me.. I also wanted to know if anyone here goes to the gym... because my main goal is successfully do the Bar-Barians requirements
If I would go to the gym, will I get closer to my goal?? Thank you!

| Some of the best gymnast use weights. For warmup and corrective exercises.
Like I've always said before. It's not the exercise, or if the exercise is weighted that causes injury, It's the execution of the exercise
80% calisthenics, 20% weights.
Being awesome at pull ups are not going to help you lift that crate of books in your apartment (deadlift). You are going to have to lift things in life and with good technique to avoid a hernia or a bulging disk. no way around it. unless you are the king of Morocco.

I've been thinking about doing deadlifts again. How do you usually mix them into your workouts? |

| Just do them 1-2 times a week with sth like 3x5 and do 2 warmup sets before that but be sure that you are using correct form so that you won't get injured |

| Dead lifts are great to work into your workout. However people often think of deadlifts using only a barbell. The more functional approach to dead lifts are "suitcase" deadlifts.
Suitcase Deadlifts are performed with a kettlebell or dumbell only on one side. Imagine picking up a suitcase with your right hand. just keep your feet close together and brace and pull using proper lifting techniques. breathing.
2 times a week is fine.
