Hi.

I'm writing this topic beacuse I'm interested what are your actually records in pull - ups and dips and what was your progress on these exercises at the beginning.

I start with training like that and I would like to know Smile

So, boast of your progress using model below:

RECORDS AT THE BEGINNING:
pullups : X
dips : Y

RECORDS NOW:
How long you train: (months)
pullups : X
dips : Y

Sorry for my english Smile

Perhaps I start:

RECORDS AT THE BEGINNING:
pullups : 4
dips : 15

RECORDS NOW:
How long you train: <1
pullups : 4
dips : 15

PS: I had first training today Smile

At the beginning i was like 3 pull ups 5-6 dips and i train about 11 months. Now i can do 20 pull ups, 30 dips. Its not some crazy progress but i m glad that i achieved also some moves like muscle ups. tucked planche, i m near backlever, etc etc.

Tell me how many days in week did you train?

I plan 4x per week like this:
2 days ON, 1 day off, 2 days ON, 1 day off ...
And i think Is it good for me?

Hey,

I re-started my training maybe like one month ago or so...

I was on 5 pull ups (bad form without full rom) (never tested the dips).

Now I can do around 10/12 pull ups...

I found that the pyramid method works the best for me.

I was training by this program and at the beginning I increased my pull up record but after two weeks of training it I couldn't increase more.

I have stoped with 5 chins up.

There are no secret methods to train. If you want to get good at some exercise, just practise it alot. You can try pyramids or do it lenear, and check out what works best for you.

well i was working out about 3-4 time per week. It depend if i was sore or not etc.

Sometimes i was getting stacked too, but just try more and u ll get over it. Generally when u train ur body is getting tired , 2 days are not enough to fully recover from a serious workout. So maybe if u want to try ur max take 1-2 more days for rest and try. Also many times it depends on ur mood, if u want u can always get one or two more reps.

Hope it make sense. Workout hard , if u do it u ll progress for sure.
