 March Madness Routine ;)

Im going to try to get my reps up with various exercises this month
and i heard the best way is to do more reps and sets
so for this month i am going to do

100 pushups increase a little daily
100 diamond pushups increase a little daily
50 chinups increase a little daily
50 iron gym bar dips increase a little daily

6 times a week, either throughout the day.. in one workout.. or just get it done

my maxes as of right now are
30 diamond pushups
25 pushups
14 chinups
18 iron gym bar dips

did them one after another 2 min rest in between each exercise
gonna see how much they improved after..
wish me luck!
feel free to try along with me

starting this workout on sunday march 4 last day will be march 31
maxes will be tested on first week of april..
don't know which day yet prob april 1-3
resting from today until then

seems like a good workout, just wondering - Do you do more diamond push ups on your max, than regular push ups?

No he dont, he said he tried his maxes with 2 mins rest between each exercise. 2 mins is not enough to try ur real max and as he have done 1st diamonds then its normal for his push ups later to be less than his normal max.

Correct me if i m wrong but i think this is the case.

i did diamond pushups first and the did regular pushups

i can probably do 50 pushups straight if im fresh..
that's the most i have ever done in a row

how much reps do you think my maxes will go up by the end of the month?

that was what i thought, began to wonder.

i think you will increase much in the diamond push ups, and regular push ups, but they will drain you if your going to just have 2 minutes of recovery after each max attempt. (you will increase in pull ups to, but it wont show that good on your max tries cus your already alittle drained for diamonds and regulars)

im no expert, tho.. just what i think Smile

Well i reccomend u to do some pull ups too.
lets say diamond push ups, pull ups,push ups,chin ups,iron gym bar dips.

Cause u do 3 exercises for pushing and 1 for pulling so if u add pull ups and it will be 3 pushing 2 pulling and its much better i think Razz .

Dunno how much u ll improve. Noone can tell u this, but the sure thing is that u ll improve more or less and thats what it really matters Smile
