Altered grandma's recipe for better nutrition for the family.
Everyone loves pancakes right?
3/4 cup organic flour
1/4 cup organic oat flour
1/4 cup organic golden flax seed meal
1 scoop NOW whey protein powder unflavored
2 tspn baking powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp organic sugar or 1scoop stevia
1 large organic egg
1 cup+ organic whole milk
2 tbsp organic butter melted
Mix dry ingredients in large bowl and add egg, milk and butter. Mix that all up. cook in cast iron pan...NO non stick people! do yourselves a favor and throw out all your teflon coated cooking things.
Cook over med low heat as the flax browns very easily.
Serve with organic strawberries and organic maple syrup...enjoy.

Sea water has the exact balance of minerals that we have in our own blood plasma...sea salt has the exact balanace of all the minerals we need...interestin huh? That is why ocean swimming is so great for recovery (nature's mineral salt bath) and sea salt is great for us too.
I cook this for my family...I dont eat refined wheat flour so I pass but try and get it as good as possible for them.
