This looks like an interesting training protocol.

It combines EDT (escalating density training) and GTG (grease the groove).

EDT is trying to do as many reps as possible in some time.
GTG is doing some sets during a day

So the guy here used a GTG in a EDT.
He said doing an exercice for 1 rep or 1-2 seconds hold (without this being ur max ofc) every 10 seconds for 5-10mins.

He also says that after this rest 5mins and do a harder variation and it will looks easier even if ur muscles are tired from the workout. Not sure if he means one whole 5-10min round or just 1 hold, propably he will mean a whole round i guess.

Didnt tried it, but i have tried once or twice timed set trying to do as many reps as possible and its pretty hard.

Here is the vid for more details, it in italian with eng subs.

he can do some really hard moves, not like typical pseudo gymnastics or bar jumping bs

have no time to watch video right now but every 5 mins not seems like GTG to me, unless you do that for whole day lol

will check this later, looks like interesting training method to change things a bit and may works for some

I maybe didnt typed/wrote/explained the idea well, better check the vid!

But i ll try one more time here. He actually done a GTG style (actually working with easy sets and try mostly to learn the pattern of the movement) in a timed protocol with high density like EDT.

So the result is something like doing really easy sets in 5-10mins and with so much repeat of the movement ur brain learn much about this movement. Ofc it will tax ur muscles as well but it also emphasized in brain and nerves i guess which this usually come from total work by repeating a movement MANY times.

Yeah its not a normal GTG that u do in a whole day but a compressed/zipped in 5-10 mins.

Didnt tried it yet , but im thinking of doing it one day with either a OAC assisted or maybe , FL progression or BL, maybe even tucked planche?...
